What is L.E.A.R.N?

A program that invites undergraduate students interested in research to become a part of a supportive learning community, get involved in undergraduate research, and build the skills for academic and career success.

  • Freshman LEARN (F-LEARN) is for students entering FAU from high school.
  • Transfer LEARN (T-LEARN) is for students entering FAU from a state/community college.

Who is L.E.A.R.N?

To be eligible for LEARN, students must be incoming freshman, or transferring from a state college with an AA/AS, and will start in the summer or fall.

 

Why L.E.A.R.N?

  • Experience a close-knit community at a large research university with other students, mentors, faculty and staff.
  • Gain hands-on research experience, priority registration, and engage in two research courses.
  • Become part of the FAU community through academic, social and community events with your peers.
  • Build connections and a network of friends.
